Day 3

Let's Get To Fishing!

In the world of Alaskan fishing, the area surrounding Lake Clark stands out for its unmatched variety and abundance of fish species. From untouched high-elevation lakes to meandering tundra rivers and the vast ocean, the opportunities for anglers are limitless. Alaska, with its impressive array of over 550 fish species, three million lakes, and twelve thousand rivers, can be daunting for those seeking guidance on where to go, which fish to pursue, and when to embark on their adventure. That’s where your hosts at Lake Clark Lodge step in — to help you navigate through the choices and tailor your experience to meet your expectations.

Day 4

Fishing With The Bears

Within the rich ecosystem of Lake Clark National Park, both brown bears and black bears find an ideal habitat. Chininita Bay, Crescent Lake, and Silver Salmon Creek emerge as prime bear viewing spots within the park. These areas often witness early runs of pink, chum, and sockeye salmon, drawing bears from far-reaching distances. As they prepare for winter hibernation, bears capitalize on every chance to bolster their weight. Lake Clark Lodge expands bear viewing opportunities to remote and secluded locations, offering guests distinctive and intimate encounters with these majestic creatures.
